Dr. Harshbir Singh Pannu is a distinguished cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon based in Amritsar, Punjab, with over 35 years of experience in the field. He currently practices at Holy Heart Hospital & Super Speciality Center, where he serves as the Chief Cardiac Surgeon.
Dr. Pannu completed his MBBS in 1984 and pursued an MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala. He further specialized by obtaining an MCh in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, in 1992.
His postdoctoral training includes serving as a Senior Registrar at Madras Medical Mission in Chennai (1993–1996) and at Green Lane Cardiothoracic and Heart Lung Transplant Centre in Auckland, New Zealand (1997–2002). He also held the position of Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi (2002–2003) before taking on his current role in Amritsar in 2004.
